Triptych moves is a three-part dance performance that brings together three dance artists from Trøndelag in an experience with varied expressions within contemporary dance, dance theater and improvisation. There will be a conversation with all the artists after the performance. Welcome!

NOEN TILBAKEMELDINGER:

Kjempeflott alt sammen! Tusen takk !  – Bjørn (reiste helt fra Oslo for å se)

Tusen takk for kjempefin forestilling, veldig spennende med stor variasjon. Interessant format!

TUSEN takk for at du arrangerte denne helga. Jeg er veldig takknemlig for at du ville ha meg med. Håper du får til å arrangere lignende type forestillinger mange ganger igjen! – Marte Melhus,utøver

CONTENT:

It is what it is  Marte Kristine Brustad Melhus (25 min)

This solo work started with an interest in sports, games and competition – and an exploration of sports-like movements and movement qualities. Slowly but surely it has grown into something else. Now it is this.

Roots – Ann Kathrin Rösvik Granhus (20 min)

Roots explores the craft and culture of the Viking Age and invites reflection on Nordic cultural heritage, our ancestors and the contrast to our own time. The performance invites the audience into a multi-layered narrative characterized by the mystery and power of the Viking Age.

Pulse – Gunhild Løhre & Björn Guo  (30 min)
previously: Anna Thu Schmidt and Björn Guo

Pulse begins as an improvised duet that explores the rhythm of our inner pulse. The work is based on dance and music improvisation where movement, sound, light and silence develop in dialogue. Pulse further explores how a duet can open up to a collective experience of movement, presence and shared silence, where the boundaries between observer and participant are blurred. Gradually, the space opens from a duo, to a quartet with all the actors in Triptych, before the audience is finally invited into a shared exploration, with a focus on community and connection. In this open space, the audience can participate as much or as little as they wish.

Interview with DansiT: Intervju DansiT; Ann Kathrin Røsvik Granhus_NÆR

Motivation:
I think and exeprience that the region of Trøndelag, Norway  lacks a place/context/setting where performing artists can come together and share shorter creations within a professional setting – so then I make it myself 🙂

Like,  also this multi-bill – production in Verdal:

Having a goal to work towards is important, and I also find it rewarding to create meetings between different artists, approaches and perspectives – and contribute to the diversity of expression. Another plus is a job of freelancers. I have created and participated in several triple and multi-car experiences in recent years both in Norway and aborad, and like the format a lot. Both as a dance artist and as an audience member:)
