Her er det noe for mange og Ann Kathrin ser fram til å både stå på en scene og se dere igjen publikum. Velkommen skal du være.”
THE BACKGROUND:
Being a freelance dancer during the lockdown wasn’t easy, but I continued creating and exploring in my studio. Working on my craft. Over time an idea started emerging that I wanted to put up a show with different creations of mine. My first full evening show then happened 1st of august 2021 in my hometown Verdal. The show consisted of work I had created during the pandemic work-years 19-20 and 20-21. I’d never performed in my hometown before, and I thought it was about time. So when the pandemic restrictions got lighter in Norway, in the summer of 21, I had arranged some plans, and just went for it.
THE GOAL:
Was to show my hometown a bit of what my profession samtidsdans / contemporary dance is or can be, to share my creations, and to show people that we have a contemporary dance-artist in town.

- The event was also blessed with a soloperformance of dance artist Linn Christin Aagedal in the Foajee before the show.
An impression of the show
RESULT:
After not performing in two years, this event felt amazing and helped me want to continue in my profession. Besides creating and performing again, I also got useful experience in creating flyers, programs, applying for funding, marketing, planning, and organizing. In short; everything from ideas to performance. This was a very good training for my next show, Veikryss in the spring of 22, that featured more people and collaborations.
