“Tyrfing” and “Ulfhednar” by Danheim

“My Mother Told Me”, based on material from the Saga of Egil Skallagrímsson

Woven tablet-braided band (brikkebånd): gifted by the Follow the Vikings project

Sword and shield:
Handcrafted and sourced from Viking craftsmen and makers in Norway and abroad

This version of Røtter was developed during 2026 and is currently being prepared for touring in Akershus in 2027. A first test performance was presented at Vesby School on 24 September 2026, with further touring scheduled for January and April 2027.
